Falling water noise attenuators

Especially in the case of counterflow cooling towers, the sound of the falling water in the air inlet area is a major contributor to the sound power level of a cooling tower.

An inexpensive and effective method of reducing this level is the is the use of fixed impact attenuators in the cold water basin. We use very robust built-in grids made of PP, which are mounted on a fixed substructure made of GRP, metal or wood. As a positive side effect, this grid layer can also be used as a walkway.
