Structure

The inner tower structure is a truss construction made of hot-dip galvanized steel, GRP or wooden profiles. The cooling tower roof, railings and outer facade are made of GRP elements as standard.

All support structures for cooling installation, water distribution and droplet separators are also made of GRP sections.

The fan support structure, made of hot-dip galvanized steel, is fixed to the fan race or tower structure. The fan ring is made of GRP.

Access to flat roof towers

The Casing is closed with FRP elements from the roof to the upper air inlet. The roof is covered with anti-slip panels. It can be accessed for maintenance purposes in the area secured with railings and is accessible via a cage ladder or a stairway.
